Virtual International Operators Conference Regional Review Series
As an enhancement to the NBAA Annual International Operator’s Conference which will be held March 12-15, 2012 in San Diego, NBAA, in conjunction with the NBAA International Operators Committee, is offering an online-only, classroom-based and interactive regional review refresher series September 26th through November 18th, 2011.

NBAA continually offers live webinar opportunities for Members on relevant industry topics and presented by industry subject matter experts. This IOC Regional Review Series will not only include 6 weekly webinars each focusing on different international regions but will also allow participants exclusive access to a virtual study group for the duration of the series to allow for private individual and group interaction, weekly discussion questions, and a live chat with the presenters for that week’s webinar topic.

Participants do not have to be available to attend the live Tuesday webinars. All webinars will be recorded and instantly available on-demand after they conclude. Likewise, participants who cannot attend the Thursday live chat can still contribute questions or provide input prior to the chat and check-in afterwards to view the conversation results.

10.03.2011 Week 2: Middle East and Africa - Moderated by Lex den Herder, Universal Weather & Aviation, Inc.
10.10.2011 Week 3: NBAA Convention in Las Vegas - No Webinr or Chats. Participant meet and greet in LAS for those attending.
10.17.2011 Week 4: Pacific Rim - Moderated by Michael Ouellette, Baseops International
10.24.2011 Week 5: Russia & China - Moderated by Keith Dixon, Colt International, and Mike Wittman, PF/AVPlan
10.31.2011 Week 6: North Atlantic & North America - Moderated by Bris Gannett, Rockwell Collins Flight Information Solutions
11.07.2011 Week 7: Europe - Moderated by Nancy Schnetz-Pierce, Jeppesen

*dates noted are Monday, the live webinars occur weekly on Tuesdays from 1300-1430E, the live chat occurs weekly on Thursdays from 1300-1400E

Schedule for Weeks 2-8 (except for week 3)
Monday:
Questions of the week are introduced directly related to the Tuesday webinar topic. Handouts will be made available for the Tuesday webinar.

Tuesday: 90 minute live webinar from 1300-1430E on the weekly topic. The webinar will be recorded and immediately available to attendees on-demand after the live webinar concludes. Attendees can attend the webinar live or access the recording if live attendance is not possible.

Wednesday: The webinar Q&A will be shared in the forum for further discussion and general knowledge. Follow-up questions can be submitted for the Thursday live chat.

Thursday: There There will be a scheduled 60 minute follow-up from 1300-1400E to answer any questions left in the study group forum since the Tuesday webinar or from the Tuesday webinar that time did not allow to complete. Q&A will be conducted by either the presenter(s) or a knowledgeable Committee Member(s) or other subject matter experts. They will be predetermined with backups identified. Questions can be left in advance if attendees cannot make this chatroom time live.

Friday: Summary of the week and preview of the next week’s schedule and objectives.

Everyday: Discussion discussion related to the weekly topic, the webinar, and the questions of the week continues.
