A flight department's ability to provide on-demand transportation is a shared responsibility that requires effective communication and coordination by all functional categories in the flight department which include dispatch, administration, finance, flight operations, and maintenance. This live webinar will highlight the importance of interdepartmental communication with the goal of working together to keep the airplane(s) flying. The panelists will discuss how strong communication and proactivity can minimize the impact of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a flight department. Presenters will discuss healthy behaviors with examples that foster positive and meaningful aviation department communication, including:

  • Education on the basics of each group for all flight department functional categories

  • Including the maintenance function in flight crew pre-departure briefings

  • Respect for all functional categories as equal partners in the flight department

  • Formal flight debriefings between the flight crew and the maintenance technicians

This webinar is being coordinated in conjunction with the NBAA Maintenance Committee and all webinar attendees will receive an $80 discount per company off the cost of NBAA's 26th Annual Maintenance Management Conference, taking place April 5 to 7 in San Diego, CA.
