Mike Cetinich, Sr. Product Manager - Weather, NOTAMs, Flight Tracking and Ops Data Aviation, Jeppesen

This webinar will feature detailed information about available web-based convective forecast technology that can assist a scheduler, dispatcher, and pilot in understanding the impact convective weather has on traffic flow management in the U.S. Presenters will give a detailed look at the Collaborative Convective Forecast Product (CCFP) that FAA ATC specialists use to determine traffic flow management programs such as ground delays, ground stops, and reroutes. Knowing how to access this tool and understanding how it informs daily decision-making will help the scheduler, dispatcher, and pilot more accurately predict weather impact on flights 6-8 hours before departure so they can evaluate alternate choices in flight schedule, destination airports, and routing to reduce the impact on their flight operations.
